"The Educatio Public Utility Company is a background institution of the Hungarian Ministry of Education and Culture. The eLearning Directorate as a subdivision of the Educatio develops and operates services in public education on the fields of methodology and content development. It maintains the Sulinet educational portal and the Sulinet Digital Knowledge Base (SDT) which is the central learning content management system in Hungary. As a result of participating in several EUN projects such as CELEBRATE, MELT and ASPECT, as well as the European Commission's eTwinning initiative, Educatio intends to share its developments throughout the European Community."

All productions are accompanied by comprehensive handbooks for teachers and educators."

"The goal of the Tiger Leap Foundation (TLF), which is financed by the Ministry of Education, is to increase the quality of Estonian education with the support of ICT. During its earlier phase, TLF activities were related to developing the ICT infrastructure in schools and teachers' computer competences. Today we focus on e-learning skills, digital materials and learning environments. TLF is participating in LRE initiative because we would like to find new users for Estonian e-learning materials that 'travel well' and also to provide Estonian teachers with access to learning content from all over Europe."

"The University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Computer and Information Science (UL FRI) participates in the LRE / MELT project on behalf of the Slovenian Ministry of Education. We act as a content provider, because we are an active developer of educational materials for schools. The didactic materials are focused mostly on natural sciences and computer science. Our activities are supported by excellent cooperation with several national schools and enriched with cooperation within international networks like CoLoS (Conceptual Learning of Science) and HSci (Hands on Science). Our main aim within the LRE / MELT project is to enrich the developed and adapted learning objects with appropriate metadata and enable Slovenian schools to access high quality learning objects that can be easily and efficiently searched and retrieved."

"XTEC stands for "Xarxa Telemàtica Educativa de Catalunya", or Online Catalan Educational Network which covers all ICT aspects in Education in Catalonia. It is represented by its three portals/websites: XTEC, EDU365 and EDU3. XTEC is a portal for teachers, with teaching resources, tutorials, tools training courses and administrative procedures. EDU365 is a portal for students and families, with lots of applications, mini didactic units faqs and online tools, such as a word processor, web mail service, personal storage or a scientific calculator. EDU3 is the product of an agreement with the Catalan Public Television TV3, whereby all educational materials produced by TV3 are catalogued and can be streamed or downloaded by teachers. XTEC supports the LRE as part of its policy of cataloguing materials and disseminating them more widely to all teachers."
